The concept is pretty simple – host Andrew Ti and a guests (Sklar Brothers, Dave Holmes) take calls from any and all who have a question if something is racist or not.
For example, a Canadian woman receives the criticisms that she is harder to understand than a French person. Is that racist? Is the Asian voice appropriate, if ever? Can white rappers use the n-word? The hosts, speckle humor, wit, and intelligent ideas into their discussion and then decide if the question results in aforementioned racism. Trust us, it’s a lot less walking on pins and needles than it sounds. It’s actually quite fun and intelligent. Andrew Ti, with a little help from his guests, have a unique way of framing the topics, and might offer you a perspective you’ve never thought of before. Even if you disagree with their opinions, it’s still pretty hilarious.
Bottom Line: Earwolf has been known for producing some wonderful concept in the past and this is no different. What sets this show aside from the others is its spin on a topic that has been a leading world issue for hundreds of years – and doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere. Where most podcasts tend to shy away from subjects that could easily become talking in circles, this podcast has something to offer everyone from many viewpoints.
And did we mention that most of the episodes clocks in at under ten minutes? You can knock out half the season after a bran muffin in the morning.
