Actress and comedienne Rosie O'Donnell is scheduled to appear in an upcoming episode of the new season of Global's "Bomb Girls," which will air next spring.
“'Bomb Girls' revolves around an incredible time in our country’s history and the empowerment of women during World War II. We’re so excited to have Rosie O’Donnell help us tell this story,” said Barb Williams, SVP of Content at Shaw Media.
O'Donnell was the host and executive producer of her own talk show "The Rosie O’Donnell Show" for six years and starred in a number of big-screen hits, including "Now and Then" and "A League of Their Own." Most recently she has guest-starred on several popular TV dramas like "Drop Dead Diva," "Curb Your Enthusiasm," and "Web Therapy." She's won a primetime Emmy and a 22 other awards over the course of her career. She returned to television hosting in the fall of 2011 with “The Rosie Show” on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network through spring 2012.
O'Donnell is currently filming her guest appearance on "Bomb Girls" in Toronto. An encore presentation of the first season of "Bomb Girls" airs on Fridays at 9pm on Global.
