Last season on “Supernatural,” Felicia Day guest starred as Charlie Bradbury, a talented geek hacker whom Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) roped into their conflict with the Leviathans.
While Charlie helped the Winchesters out, she told them never to contact her again as she left town.
However, the Winchesters will soon break that rule or perhaps Charlie will change her mind. Because Zap2it is reporting that Day has been signed for a return appearance as Charlie in in the amusingly titled, "LARP and The Real Girl." The episode in question will explore and poke fun at the live-action roleplaying community.
"We will be doing an episode that deals pretty heavily with the LARPing universe, different in a way that we've dealt with in the past," noted “Supernatural” executive producer Jeremy Carver.
In the closing moments of her last appearance, Charlie hinted that she has disappeared before and that Charlie wasn’t her real name. Perhaps we’ll learn more about her this time… and maybe she’ll even have a girlfriend.
One thing that Zap2It did confirm was that "LARP and The Real Girl" will include a character named Gerard, an "interactive literaturist" and avid LARPer who “goes a little too far with his fascination with a medieval-style game… and, of course, things don't end well.”
Prior to her guest role on “Supernatural,” Day starred in Joss Whedon’s "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog" in addition to creating and starring in the hit web series "The Guild." Day also wrote and starred in the web series "Dragon Age: Redemption" in addition to making guest appearances on "Dollhouse," "Eureka." and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."
“Supernatural” airs Wednesday nights on the CW.
