WBA/WBC junior welterweight champion Danny Garcia (26-0,16KOs) has arrived.

Brooklyn's Barclays Center played host to a rematch Saturday night that turned into the best KO of the year as Mexican Legend Erik Morales (52-9, 36 KOs) was put on ice in the fourth round by a monstrous left hook from the 24-year old Garcia.

Garcia started the fight uncharacteristically aggressive as he worked the 36-year old Morales' body. In the last minute of the round, both men traded shots which went in Garcia's favor. In the second, Morales stood toe-to-toe with his younger rival despite being clearly outgunned. Garcia landed thumping combinations to the body — then head — of his opponent as he cornered him against the ropes.

In the third round, both Morales and Garcia traded hard punches in the center of the ring as action heated up. Garcia used his quick jab to neutralize the incoming attack as Morales answered every clean shot with one of his own. Garcia blasted Morales with a right cross on the chin that rocked the legend.

Garcia sealed the victory with the most violent KO of the year in the fourth round. Morales was sent through the bottom rope, almost out of the ring from a vicious left hook from Garcia at the 1:23 mark in the round.

"Time passes by and these are the early signs that this is over." said Morales after the fight. He continued with "I was prepared to come in and fight but I couldn't get it done. I couldn't get my movement."

As a legend's career ends another possible future legend's moves forward. "I showed him too much respect in the first fight," said Garcia of his 12 round UD win in both men's first meeting. "You see the first fight, I thought this fight would be more of a war."

Instead, Garcia went home early with the KO of the year added to his already impressive year.
