One of the highlights of any comic convention is the chance to see fans come out in costume as their favorite characters. So far, the 2012 New York Comic Con hasn’t disappointed us on that front.

Here’s a look at ten cosplayers who caught our eye on Friday, October 12.

You know a show is really starting to seep into the public consciousness when people start cosplaying it. “Breaking Bad” fans have a good showing here. Now if only someone would cosplay Walt as Heisenberg…

“Game of Thrones” has become another popular choice for cosplayers. And it’s hard to wrong with the Khaleesi and her dragons.

It’s always nice to see a good Poison Ivy at a con. Classic costume too.

Rule 63 Batman

That’s right, this isn’t Batgirl or Batwoman. This woman’s gender reversed Batman works surprisingly well.

But wherever there’s a Batman, can the Joker be far behind? Why so serious, pal?

Classic Wonder Woman and New 52 Superman. And what’s that on his sign?

That ain’t all he stole….

She’s not bad, she’s just drawn that way.

Now this dude has the physique to pull off a superhero costume.

Scarlet Witch & Witchblade?

Classic Scarlet Witch and… I’m not sure who the other girl is supposed to be. My initial guesses were White Queen or Dazzler. But the stuff on her face and arm makes me think she’s possibly going as Witchblade.

One of my personal favorites of the day. A simple idea that was executed well.
