Today is Marvel NOW day, as evidenced by the release of Uncanny Avengers #1, and last night, it was celebrated on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
In the sketch, Kimmel goes to Marvel's offices and talks to their Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada about new characters for their comic book universe. However, they happen to be characters Kimmel created when he was 11 years old – although it's a fairly impressive "Terrific Ten" comic book undertaking for a boy of that age.
Hilariously, ABC apparently doesn't allow the embedding of their video clips, but you can see the Jimmy Kimmel Live! sketch right here. In the meantime, take a look at how good Kimmel was at age 11 drawing (or perhaps tracing) Marvel heroes.
Also, while we're on the topic of late night television, here's a completely unrelated clip from Late Night with Jimmy Fallon that I cannot stop laughing at. Such is the majesty of Hulk Hogan rapping.
