With "True Blood" set to return to HBO in just over a week, it would be easy to assume that all of the casting announcements had already been made. But apparently that's not the case.

TVLine is reporting that Tina Majorino has signed on to the fifth season of "True Blood" in a recurring role as a key member of the Vampire Authority's support staff. Majorino will make her "True Blood" debut in the third episode of the season.

Majorino's stint on "True Blood" will mark her return to HBO following a long stint on "Big Love." Majorino is perhaps best known for playing Special Agent Genny Shaw on "Bones," Cindy "Mac" Mackenzie on "Veronica Mars" and Deborah "Deb" Bradshaw in both the Napoleon Dynamite movie and the recently aired animated series.

Majorino has also appeared in several films including Waterworld, When a Man Loves a Woman, Andre and Corrina, Corrina.

"True Blood" season five will premiere on Sunday, June 10, only on HBO.
