Later this week, Sterling Archer (H. Jon Benjamin) and the rest of the secret agents at ISIS return to FX for the third season of "Archer." And they aren't coming alone.
On Thursday's third season premiere, "The Man From Jupiter," Archer will come face-to-face with his personal hero, Burt Reynolds; who will portray an animated version of himself. And in the first of four preview scenes from the new season, Archer is ecstatic to finally meet Reynolds… which probably won't last once he realizes that Reynolds is dating his mother, Mallory Archer (Jessica Walter).
In the second preview clip, Reynolds and Archer defy death in an epic car chase; where Archer has some trouble managing his excitement… in his pants.
The third preview clip takes place in a later episode, in which Archer and the ISIS team are on a disastrous train ride to Canada while in pursuit of a terrorist. And here we find Archer also looking for an ocelot; which is presumably Babou, the exotic pet of Archer's slightly crazed co-worker, Cheryl Tunt (Judy Greer).
And in the fourth and final preview clip, Cheryl and Pam Poovey (Amber Nash) worry about ISIS' new drug testing policy, while recently crippled Ray Gillette (Adam Reed) reveals that not even a wheelchair can slow him down.
Last week, "Archer' creator Adam Reed revealed that Bryan Cranston ("Breaking Bad") will guest star in the two part third season finale of "Archer," which will take Sterling and the ISIS gang into an orbiting space station. Jack McBrayer ("30 Rock") and Michael Rooker ("The Walking Dead') are also slated to guest star, with a secret character from a previous season of "Archer" also expected to make a surprising return.
Don't miss the third season premiere of "Archer," Thursday January 19. only on FX!
