March is Officially Silent Hill Month

Be afraid, be very afraid.

Bad news folks: the Silent Hill HD Collection has been pushed out of January and into March, specifically March 6th announced Konami today. But with bad news comes good news: March 2012 will officially be known to the world as the month every gamer on the planet crapped his/her pants… repeatedly.

In addition to the launch of the Silent Hill HD Collection on March 6th, Konami also plans two other Silent Hill releases that month. Firstly, Silent Hill: Downpour, the new pants-crap-athon title for Xbox 360 and PS3, launches March 13th. Following a few weeks later, Konami plans to release Silent Hill: Book of Memories for PlayStation Vita on March 27th.

Honestly, that might be more Silent Hill than any one person can handle. Just one game set in that universe is enough to send anyone into the arms of a straightjacket for life. Now Konami is “blessing” us with three in the span of 30 days. We hope you like undead, blood-thirty nurses, because you’re getting them in spades come March 2012.
