Hulk: Season One

We've already seen the first wave of Marve's Season One initiative, bringing us modern retellings of classic origin stories for iconic characters.  That one is bringing us Daredevil, Spider-Man, Fantastic Four and X-Men tales.  Now, we've got a second wave coming that will deliver unto us new versions of Ant-Man, Hulk and Dr. Strange, coming in July, August and September of 2012, respectively.

Will these be new official origins that current creators will have to build upon and assume as canon?  It's not entirely clear.  What they will be are stand-alone graphic novel introductions to these heroes for new readers.  Tom DeFalco and Horacio Domingues are taking on Ant-Man, while Fred Van Lente and Tom Fowler are Hulkin' it up.  Then, longtime Hulk writer Greg Pak is teaming with Emma Rios for the Dr. Strange saga.

Check out these covers for three of the new Marvel: Season One efforts.
