It’s been a long time coming, but Remedy’s fantastic psychological thriller, Alan Wake, is finally making the transition to PC in 2012.

Remedy has been no stranger to the PC market in the past, and they promise that the extended wait for Wake on PC will be worth it for fans. In a press release announcing the PC port, Remedy says Alan Wake on PC will have the high resolution polish PC fans expect from their platform of choice. Alan Wake on PC will also come packaged with both downloadable content episodes, “The Signal” and “The Writer.”

Remedy also mentions in the aforementioned press release that the release of Alan Wake on PC coincides with the upcoming XBLA release, Alan Wake’s American Nightmare. Coincidence? I think not! It’s going to be a very Alan Wake-y 2012. Then, hopefully Remedy expedites the process of getting Alan Wake’s American Nightmare over to the PC platform a little faster than the year and half it took them to get Alan Wake ported.

Because let’s be honest, seeding Alan Wake out to as many potential customers as possible is nothing but a good thing. Love live the Wakers!
