It's a big week for Ice Cube: The rapper-turned-actor just announced a new pilot on FX and now he's finally confirmed those rumors of a fourth Friday movie. Details are still scarce, but TMZ just received a confirmation straight from the Cube's production company that it's in the works. After two rather lackluster sequels, however, we're wondering just how excited we're supposed to be.
Quoth the Cube('s production company): "Absolutely yes the studio is in the process of getting the entire original cast to do another 'Friday.'"
We'd heard about Tucker, but the entire original cast? That's pretty cool for Friday fans, and we imagine it won't be too hard, either. Most of the cast of the original film haven't moved on to superstardom, and will probably be able to make room in their schedules to revisit one of their biggest hit films. The only thing we want to know is just how many Fridays later this film will take place. Surely it's been at least 500 by now, right?
CraveOnline will be back with more Friday news after we get our asses off our shoulders and make some money.
