Ryu Hayabusa’s third blood-soaked adventure will be not-so-stealthly dropping in March 2012 for Xbox 360 and PS3, revealed Tecmo and Team Ninja today. Shortly thereafter, a Wii U version of Ninja Gaiden 3 will ship, although a firm date was not provided.
Here’s what we know about Ninja Gaiden 3: it’s got blood. Lots of it. The story revolves around some poor choices Ryu’s made in his past coming back to bite him in the ass. And finally, the game will be the first in the series to offer an “easy” mode for those turned off my exceedingly difficult games (*raises hand*).
We put “easy” in quotations because we imagine Team Ninja’s easy is the equivalent of “Insane” mode in Gears of War 3. Basically, Ninja Gaiden 3 is going to be brutally unforgiving no matter what difficulty you play it on. It is the law of this land.
So prepare for blood in March. Oh, and a lot of checkpoint restarts.
