Ben Stiller is through focking around. In a recent interview with Hollywood Reporter, the comedy superstar said that there are no plans for a fourth film in the "Meet the" franchise, and gave updates on all his other sequel plans. Unsurprisingly, there's a third Night at the Museum in the works, but most interestingly he finally opened up about the plot of that Zoolander movie we've all been clamoring for, even though nobody went to see the first one in theaters.
Zoolander 2 – which we're publicly hoping will be subtitled Zoolandest – takes place ten years after the first film. When the "School for Kids Who Don't Read Good" has been shut down, Derek Zoolander is placed in charge of its "pupil." Those are Hollywood Reporter's words. Did the school only have one student, or is this a typo? Speculate away, internet! Stiller reports that there have been as many of 30 drafts of the Zoolander 2 screenplay, some of them written without Stiller's involvement. But the project is back in his hands, and he's "very proud" of the current draft.
CraveOnline will be back with more Zoolander 2 news soon, so… relax.
