Once upon a fall schedule, there were two fairy tale inspired shows, one of which was a crime drama/fantasy that followed the descendant of a long line of hunters who protect our world from all manor of creatures straight out of a storybook.
But that's actually "Grimm" on NBC and you're going to have to wait another week before you can see that.
In the meantime, ABC is unveiling "Once Upon A Time" this Sunday, which also features story book characters in the modern day. Although heavily rumored to be inspired by the comic book series "Fables," "Once Upon A Time" tweaks the common elements of their shared premise and takes place in a town called Storybrooke; where all of our favorite fairy tale characters live out ordinary lives without realizing who or what they really are.
For a special preview of the series, ABC has released the first nine minutes of the pilot episode in which we see Prince Charming (Joshua Dallas) pursue his happy ending with Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) in defiance of the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla). And then in the present, we meet Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison), who has an odd way of practicing her profession. There's also a young boy named Henry (Jared Gilmore); who may be the key to unraveling the mysterious connection between the fantasy world and our reality.
Don't miss the series premiere of "Once Upon A Time," this Sunday at 8PM on ABC!
