HBO Unleashes A New ‘True Blood’ Season 4 Trailer

It's a post Russell Edgington world for the vampires, starting next month.

Last season on "True Blood," the human population got a little bent out of shape when the Vampire King Russell Edgington (Denis O'Hare) murdered an on-air TV anchorman and set back vampire rights by a few decades or more. (On a side note, I really liked his "throw" to the Weather girl).

Russell may be gone (for now), but the rest of Bon Temps still has to deal with the fallout during the upcoming fourth season on HBO. And in this newly released trailer, even Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgård) has to do damage control by taping a Vampire PSA and it looks like Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) has a new job as an enforcer for Nan Flanagan (Jessica Tuck).

Of course, there's also a glimpse of the other characters in town, including a (probably ill-advised) coven sit-in with Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis), some more trouble with Jason (Ryan Kwanten) and Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) apparently finding a new lady friend…

And Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) also gets to sum up the season in one fast quip.

The fourth season of "True Blood" kicks off on Sunday, June 26!
