Bulletstorm Gets Demo Jan. 25

Good news for those excited to play Epic Games and People Can Fly’s upcoming badassathon Bulletstorm. The game will be getting a demo on both the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live on January 25. European PS3 owners will be able to download the demo on Jan. 26.

The demo will feature a taste of the Echo Mode game-type which pits the player against a plethora of enemies in a single area and tells them to live by the game’s mantra — kill with skill. Echo Mode then ranks players on how creative they are with kicking in faces and firing a rifle up the ass of an enemy (this is a real thing in Bulletstorm).

And now a quick word from our Bulletstorm sponsors:

“Players will utilize the Skillshot system in Bulletstorm as they crush enemies in increasingly creative ways to rack up points using an arsenal of powerful weapons, from a futuristic assault rifle called the Peace Maker Carbine, to the Flail Gun, which fires two grenades linked by a chain, and the Screamer, a powerful revolver that turns enemies into human fireworks.”

If you’re on the fence about Bulletstorm, mark January 25 on your calendar and give the demo a shot.
