While performing hit songs like "Best I Ever Had," "Find Your Love" and "The Motto" at a Tyra Banks' event last night, Drake also excitedly announced that he had just graduated high school.

Drake, who is 25 years old, dropped out of school a number of years ago to take on a role on "Degrassi: The Next Generation," where he played Jimmy Brooks. He had recently taken some time off of music to focus on his studies, and finished with high marks, he claimed on Twitter, getting 97 per cent on his final exam and an 88 per cent in his last class. He shouted during his performance, "I got my high school diploma!"

Drake was working the stage at supermodel Tyra Banks' first-ever Flawsome Ball for The Tyra Banks TZONE Foundation, a charity set up for young girls. He joined celebs like Rosario Dawson, Clay Aiken and Estelle
in New York for the event.

Drake (born Aubrey Drake Graham) has won a number of Juno and BET Awards, signing a record contract with Lil' Wayne's label Young Money Entertainment back in 2009 and rising to stardom ever since. He released his debut album "Thank Me Later" a year after that, and followed it up with 2011's "Take Care." He has collaborated with a number of high-caliber artists like Rihanna, Eminem, Jay-Z, and more.
