The Killers are set to make their studio return with a new album called Battle Born. The record, due in the fall, features a myriad of production names including Stuart Price, Steve Lillywhite, Damian Taylor and Brendan O’Brien.
So where does the title come from? In an interview with Rolling Stone, frontman Brandon Flowers explained that the name comes from the band's recording studio, but stands for something greater: "In a sense, all Americans are battle born. Our ancestors came here for something better.” He also revealed some of the song titles which included “Heart Of A Girl,” “Flesh And Bone,” “Carry Me Home” and “Runaways”.
The release will be the group's first full-length since 2008's impressive Day & Age. In the meantime, Flowers released his own solo record and toured successfully behind it.
