The first batch of names set to play London's iTunes festival have been released today, with Jack White, One Direction, Usher and Norah Jones all set to take to the stage.
The free month-long festival will take place at the London Roundhouse between September 1st – 30th, with Usher headlining the first batch of shows before former White Stripes frontman Jack White takes the reins on September 8th. Norah Jones shall be gracing the stage on September 10th, before the Roundhouse will inevitably see itself filled with screaming teenage girls as One Direction bring their blend of floppy-haired young romanticism to the venue on September 20th.
All tickets for the free event will be given away from itunesfestival.com, where tickets are won by filling in an application form.
The event will host more than 60 artists through its 30-night duration. The shows can also be streamed live afterwards for a shortperiod of time via (what else) iTunes, or via the iTunes Festival Official App, available to download at Apple.com.
So the full line-up for the iTunes Festival so far is:
Usher (September 1)
Jack White (September 8)
Norah Jones (September 10)
One Direction (September 20)
As always, keep it tuned to Crave Online for more.
