Red Hot Chili Peppers Coming To Canada

The band will also play iconic Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago.

American rock-punk band the Red Hot Chili Peppers will be visiting part of Western Canada on a leg of their upcoming tour later in the year.

The concert tour, which is in promotion of their latest album "I'm With You," will see the group stopping at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg on November 26, a city they haven't been to since 2006. Tickets for the show in the 'Peg will go on sale on next Friday at 10am – fans can get tickets then by visiting livenation.com.

The RHCP will also be performing show in Vancouver (Nov. 17) at Rogers Arena, Calgary (Nov. 19) at Scotiabank Place, Edmonton (Nov. 21) at Rexall Place, and Saskatoon (Nov. 24) at Credit Union Centre.

They will also be rounding out a distinguished list of performers for this year's Lollapalooza music fest in Chicago. They will join Black Sabbath, Jack White and Sigur Ros for the three-day concert event at Grant Park. The specific show date will only be announced this summer.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers hit the music scene back in 1984 with their self-titled debut album, and since that time, nine studio albums have followed. They've accumulated more than 15 awards and 65 nominations, which included winning three AMAs and six Grammys in total. The group will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this weekend in Cleveland along with fellow 80s band Guns N' Roses.
