Check out a ten-minute performance short (and DVD tease?) from the band's epic homecoming shows.

The Arctic Monkeys headed home last June for two incredible hometown gigs at the Don Valley Bowl in Sheffield, UK, and in August released a trailer featuring footage that seemed to indicate a release of some kind was on the way. While there's no DVD on the release schedule just yet, the Monkeys have put out a 10-minute short of the concert to tide us over until the whole chilly primate enchilada arrives.

The short, compiled from footage at the concert, is a thrilling ride for any AM fan, witnessing fellow Monkeys maniacs losing their minds with excitement, as well as the band performing truly sick versions of “Don’t Sit Down Cause I’ve Moved Your Chair,” “505″ and “Mardy Bum.”

We'll keep you posted on a release date, if the DVD comes to fruition!
