The long-awaited first single from the dynamic duo collaboration of Kanye West and Jay-Z has arrived! We’ve also got the new video from Oasis survivors Beady Eye, a brand new PJ Harvey track, new Mogwai music and an unbelievable performance by The Black Keys on Letterman from Monday night. Let’s get our ear titillation on….
Jay-Z & Kanye West – H.A.M.
Spoiler alert: the title stands for “hard as a motherf*cker.” Jay-Z and Kanye go at it in this first track from the duo’s collaborative album Watch The Throne, which thankfully doesn’t sound like leftovers from the My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy sessions. The grandiosity remains, however, and while most rappers ride a beat through a song, Ye and Hova have presented sweeping, classical-infused musical overachievement that reaches far beyond a "beat".
Listen over at Antiquiet. Watch The Throne is out 3/1 via Def Jam.
