That’s right, everyone, just another teacher who decided to hook up with a student. But this time around the story comes to us from Philly.

Nina Scott, a 28-year-old teacher at The Village in Rosemont actually faced up to 70 child-sex related charges after admitting to police that she had numerous sexual encounters with a 16-year-old female student — a sexual relationship that Scott and the student kept going for eight months. And where did these hook-ups take place? At Scott’s home, parks and even at the school itself.

Scott recently pleaded guilty to  institutional sexual assault while teaching at the school – a school that is for kids with trauma and behavior problems. But whether it comes as a surprise to you or not, Scott only received three to 23 months. Oh, she and will serve the minimum term on electronic home monitoring after a plea deal. A very weak punishment if you ask me.

The victim reportedly said the relationship started when she passed a note to Scott which read, “How would you feel if I kissed you?” Scott, she told police, returned the note saying she would not tell anyone. A search of the teen’s room revealed love letters from Scott to the student, said officers.

Scott referred to the girl as “her girlfriend” and mentioned being in bed with her. The brunette was also said to have referred to her two-year-old child as “their daughter.” Scott was also put on five years of sex offender probation and banned from contacting the student. She will be evaluated by the state’s Sexual Offenders Assessment Board to see if she is rated as a sexually violent predator, which could trigger another hearing, reports the Delaware County Daily Times.

Scott apologized to the victim and her family and her own relatives.

“This will never happen again,” she told Delaware County Court of Common Pleas Judge Richard Cappelli.

Here’s what police Superintendent William Colarulo, at the time, had to say :

“The only way I can describe what this teacher did is downright disgusting. As a parent and as a police officer for 36 years, it never ceases to amaze me when you put children in the care of a position such as a teacher and they violate that trust.”

People get harsher punishments for being busted with weed. Think about that, folks.
