Stephanie Mahoe is a fitness model and her measurements are 34D-26-35. She is probably best known for earning the title 2011 Maxim Hometown Hottie. She competed in fitness categories 10 times in 2013 and seven of those resulted in Top Three placing, with three first place victories.
Stephanie Mahoe was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and was an only child, though she said she has “several ‘sisters’ I have chosen.” She is a mix of Portuguese, German and Scottish ancestry.
Stephanie Mahoe got into fitness because she always had a passion for it. “I played a lot of sports in high school and have always been active.” She used to look at models in fitness magazines and say, “I want to look like THAT.” “I think the fact that I love to challenge myself is the main reason I found myself in love with this industry.”
Her first job was at a gym and then she became a personal trainer. She also studied anatomy and nutrition, among other disciplines in college, and was originally going to become a physical therapist.
Generally, Stephanie Mahoe works out 6 days a week, twice a week, with Sunday as a rest day. Her favorite exercises are squats. She gets a lot of compliments on her legs and butt. As for dieting, she said, “Diet has to be clean but it can still be fun.” Her holiday tip includes chewing gum. “When I have something in my mouth I am less likely to nibble on things that are in front of me.” Her favorite bodybuilding meal is steak and sweet potatoes.
She shared that backstage in competitions, it smells. “So many amazing bodies, but ProTan just doesn’t make us smell pretty.”
Stephanie Mahoe thinks what makes people successful is a strong mind. “A strong mind is what keeps us pushing forward when we want to quit.” A bit of trivia: her dream travel destination is Australia or Fiji.
She also has a pre-teen son. “I’m sharing [that fact] because I hope that it inspires women who may be struggling to get their bodies back after having kids.” Stephanie Mahoe, per her Twitter, resides in Florida, though another website says she resides in Portland. No matter where she is, we wish her well.
