Sophia Thomalla is a German television actress. She is best known for her role on the series, "Mountain Medic."
Sophia Thomalla was born in East Berlin, Germany on October 6, 1989. She is the daughter of two famous actors as well: Simone Thomalla and Andre Vetters. However, the two separated when Sophia was seven, and she then moved with her mother to Cologne, Germany. In the fourth grade, her and her mother again moved, this time to Kleinmachnow, which is a suburb of Berlin. The two moved one final time a year later to Gelsenkirchen.
As a child, Sophia was interested in more than just acting, although it was her primary focus. As a child, she actually competed in amateur kickboxing before finally settling into drama school in Bochum from 2007 to 2009. Around the same time, she was acting on her first TV series in the recurring role as Livia on Commissario Laurenti, a role she had discovered through a friend. Since then her acting career has continued to take shape in Germany, having starred in numerous TV series and TV movies since.
Along with acting, Sophia has competed on several reality TV series as well. She first attended an open casting for "Germany's Next Top Model" in 2009, but unfortunately didn't make it to the second round. She then tried her luck on a series called "Let's Dance," which yielded much better results. Her, along with her partner, Massimo Sinato, took the title of Dancing Star 2010 that year. Sophia was also voted FHM's third sexiest woman in 2010, as well as appeared in the May 2012 issue of German Playboy, which her mother had appeared in years before.
