Born Rochelle Eulah Eileen Wiseman, but known (after her marriage) as Rochelle Humes, she is a British singer and presenter best associated for her work with groups S Club 8 and The Saturdays. In England, The Saturdays have a reputation as being the sexiest girl band in pop.
Rochelle Humes was raised in Essex and is of Jamaican ancestry. Her nicknames include Rochie and Roch. As a child, she attended dance school. Apparently, her mom used to write notes to Rochelle’s teachers, telling them Rochelle had doctors’ appointments so that she could attend auditions.

Interestingly, growing up she had a pet African Land Snail. (They are native to Africa and are kept in a glass tank.) She’s also left-handed.
After the band S Club Juniors/S Club 8 broke up in 2005, she competed in Miss England and she came in third. From there, however, she joined The Saturdays, becoming one-fifth of the English girl band.
Aside from singing, she also launched her own clothing label for Very, which isn’t surprising given that Rochelle Humes is a self-proclaimed shopaholic.
She later landed a gig as a presenter on “Sweat the Small Stuff”, but when comparing what she liked better – working in TV or the music industry – she said music.
In an interview, Rochelle Humes spoke about her body issues. “I’m happy now. A couple of years ago I had two cysts on my ovaries and it made me put on quite a bit of weight…then after the operation it all calmed down. I’m happy to be curvy, I’m happy to be womanly…the last thing I worry about now is what I look like.”
She added that she couldn’t leave England to move to the United States. “I’m a home girl, but working [in the States] is great.”
For fun, she revealed that she enjoys paragliding.
She has been romantically linked with soccer player Darren Randolph and later married Marvin Humes in 2012. Rochelle gave birth to a daughter in May 2013. Rochelle Humes admitted, “I’m definitely the bad cop. Mum always is! [Marvin’s] just the cop that does the fun stuff!”
