Nicole Brewer is former 2005 Miss Pennsylvania. She is also a general assignment reporter and anchor for CBS News 3 out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Nicole Brewer was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 15, 1983 and has lived there for most of her life. She attended Marple Newtown Senior High School, graduating in 2001, and made her way to Millersville University of Pennsylvania. While in attendance, she not only moved up the ranks to become president of the National Broadcasting Society, but also served as the business manager for the university's cable station, as well as the lead anchor for News 99.

Upon graduating in 2005 magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in speech communications, Nicole entered and won the Miss Pennsylvania 2005 competition. This sent her on her way to the Miss America pageant in 2006, where she made it down to the final ten contestants, but ultimately lost to Miss Oklahoma, Jennifer Berry. This minor setback, however, had no affect on Nicole's journalistic career. Before joining CBS 3 and The CW Philly’s Eyewitness News team in 2008, she was a featured reporter and producer for PBS's Tempo at WLVT station in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Her biggest accomplishment was co-writing and producing “Kids and Gangs: A Tempo Special Report,” which won her a 2008 Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award.
