Marloes Horst is a model who has walked the catwalk for Prada and Chanel, and has appeared in Victoria’s Secret. But she is probably most famous for her appearance in the 2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Her measurements are 32-24-35. She is represented by Next Models.
In an interview with blog.kirakira.com, Marloes Horst said she was “discovered” after she and her best friend sent pictures of themselves to agencies when they were 16. “It was meant as a joke but turned into a full time career for me!” She said, “I was never really into fashion, but the thought of those girls in the magazine that I read was cool,” (fashionmodeldirectory.com).

Her most bizarre job modeling was working with an elephant. “They’re so smart, it’s ridiculous…it was really interesting to be with such a massive, strong animal but they’re like a little puppy dog.”
Her inspiration growing up was Christy Turlington and her style icon is Marilyn Monroe.
Something people might not know about, Marloes Horst said, is that “I wore purple glasses, purple pants and purple shoes in high school and thought I looked fabulous.”
As for modeling in New York, she said, “There is never a dull moment. There is always a new restaurant or store opening, new bands to discover or a new movie to go see and watch.” She stays in shape with the help of a trainer. “When I’m somewhere else I run and do exercises in my hotel room. I love to dance and that [keeps] me in shape, too.”
As for living in New York, she said, “I have a dog, so I’d bring her to the park in the morning. I’m a morning person so I love taking her out and love taking a walk along the river. I hang out a lot in Union Square.”
A bit of trivia: her favorite place to go on vacation is Tuscany. “Everywhere you look is like looking at a painting. It’s such a peaceful place.” And what makes her feel sexy are “good, sexy, and comfortable underwear.” Her favorite body part is her lips. “I think they are sexy.” Her choice of superpower would be “teleportation. Traveling [is] tiring, and with teleportation I will be wherever I want in a few seconds.”
Marloes Horst currently resides in New York City.
