Lauren Bittner was born on July 22, 1980 in New York City and grew up in Long Island. By the time she had reached her early to 20s, she began to hit her stride as an up-and-coming actress. After landing her first official television role playing the role of Amber on the NBC drama "Third Watch," she spent the next two years doing small parts in films such as "The Thing About My Folks" and "Flannel Pajamas." She went on then guest star on a number of popular series including "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" and "The Black Donnellys."

In 2009, Lauren caught a big break by being cast as Amie in the 2009 comedy film "Bride Wars" opposite the likes of actresses Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson. From there, film success continued as she went on to star in "Once More with Feeling," "The Mighty Macs" and "Subject: I Love You" before her true big break in 2011. This would be the year she played Julie in the highly popular horror franchise sequel "Paranormal Activity 3."
With a booming and prosperous resume now on her side, Lauren continued to see a steady stream of work role in. The year 2013 saw her take on her first major recurring role on The CW series "Hart of Dixie" which would up taking her into the next year after a 13-episode stint. From there, she simply continues to keep on keeping on, with major roles in films like "Saint Janet" paving the way.
