Felicia Day is an American actress/writer/producer. She is most famous (especially to online gamers) as the creator and star of "The Guild," a web-based series based around online gaming.
Kathryn Felicia Day was born in Huntsville, AL on June 28, 1979. A child genius, more or less, she got her start in acting at age 7, when she starred as "scout" in a local production of "To Kill a Mockingbird." Home-schooled throughout her childhood, Felicia split her time between her schoolwork and studying operatic singing and ballet, even performing in competitions nationwide. On top of all that, she was also and accomplished violinist. She would eventually go on to graduate top of her high school class in 1995 at the age of 16, as a national Merit Scholar, no less.

Felicia was given a full ride to the University of Texas at Austin for her violin performance, which she took even though she had also been accepted into the Juilliard School of Music. Not surprisingly, she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Violin Performance. With such a wide array of talents, it's no wonder that she moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career after graduation.
