T.G.I.M.! #155

Taking a look at the sports TV schedule for the week ahead.

James LeBeauby James LeBeau

We have officially begun the second round of the NBA playoffs and even in the early going, it looks like we are going to have four series that will capture the attention of all watching. Keep watch this week as the action heats up and names are made.

Monday

(NBA) Philadelphia at Boston 7 pm TNT

(MLB) Chicago Cubs at St. Louis 7 pm ESPN

(NBA) LA Lakers at Oklahoma City 9:30 pm TNT– This is game 1 of the classic young versus old as the aging Lakers look to make one last run against the up and coming Oklahoma City Thunder. Expect L.A. to throw everything they have at the upstart Thunder, but will it be enough?

Tuesday

(NBA) Indiana at Miami 7 pm TNT

(NBA) L.A. Clippers at San Antonio 9:30 pm TNT– The other L.A. team faces unfamiliar waters as they start the second round of the NBA playoffs. Unfortunately for them, they face the most seasoned team in the NBA who has been getting better as the season has progressed. If the Clippers are to win this series, then they have to hope their young legs can out hustle the Spurs.

Wednesday

(NBA) Boston at Philadelphia 7 pm TNT– The Celtics are right where they want to be; on a collision course with the Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals. All they have to do is put away a 76ers team who advanced almost by default after the Bulls lost two of their top players in the series before.

(MLB) Boston at Tampa Bay 7 pm ESPN

(NBA) LA Lakers at Oklahoma City 9:30 pm TNT

Thursday

(PGA) HP Byron Nelson Championship May 17th-20th CBS/TGC

(NBA) Miami at Indiana 7 pm ESPN– Miami had better hope that the injury to Chris Bosh isn't major. Expect Indiana to put up a good fight, especially if Miami's big man is out. Then, if Miami wins, they'll most likely have to face the Celtics in the next round. Without Bosh, their title chances could be slimmer than imagined.

(NBA) LA Clippers at San Antonio 9:30 pm ESPN

Friday

(MLB) Boston at Philadelphia 7:05 pm MLB Network

(NBA) Boston at Philadelphia 8 pm ESPN

(NBA) Oklahoma City at LA Lakers 10:30 pm ESPN

Saturday

(NBA) San Antonio at LA Clippers 3:30 pm abc

(NASCAR) NASCAR Sprint Showdown 5 pm SPD

(NASCAR) NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race 7:30 pm SPD

(NBA) Oklahoma City at LA Lakers 10:30 pm TNT

Sunday

(MLB) Boston at Philadelphia 1:35 pm TBS

(NASCAR) NASCAR Nationwide Series at Iowa 2 pm ESPN

(NBA) Miami at Indiana 3:30 pm abc

(MLB) St. Louis at LA Dodgers 8 pm ESPN

(NBA) San Antonio at LA Clippers 10:30 pm TNT
